Village Caregiving - Lansing is Hiring a Caregiver Near Lowell, MI

Welcome to Village Caregiving of Lansing, MI!

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable In-Home Caregiver to join our team part time and provide high-quality care to clients in their homes in the Lowell area.

The In-Home Caregiver will assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and provide ongoing support and monitoring to ensure that clients receive the best possible care.

Our Lansing office covers over 20 different counties across mid- and west Michigan and we are always looking for new caregivers to join our team! Our number one focus is our clients, and our caregivers.

We look for people who want to better the lives of the elderly and earn competitive pay at the same time.

Responsibilities :

Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)

Assist clients with personal care and hygiene

Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended at home exercises

Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed

Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals

Qualifications :

Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required

Must be respectful and compassionate with good bedside manner

Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills

Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards

Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints

Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility, as needed

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required

High school diploma or equivalent
